I was told it would take 6 men and up to 2 hours for the men to move my stand and 400 pound aquarium from my garage to my living room. They quoted $450-$500. It took about 15 minutes for 4 men to move the aquarium and stand. They charged me $450. I was quite pleased with the results. I was never quoted a trip charge or hourly rate so I guess it ended up being what was quoted. $450 an hour, I feel, is a bit steep. However, if everything went as smoothly as this was, it would be a beautiful day.
