We’re fully licensed by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), so our pricing is transparent and regulated. No games. No hidden fees.

How Our Local Moving Pricing Works

When you hire us, you’re paying for full-service local moving:

• The truck

• Our in-house moving team (not subcontractors)

• Fuel

• Moving equipment (dollies, padding, shrink wrap)

• Disassembly and reassembly of bedroom furniture

There are three common pricing methods in the industry:

1. Hourly rate

2. By weight

3. Binding estimate (flat rate)

We use the binding estimate approach. You get one clear, upfront price—no surprises, no clock-watching.

Your quote only changes if your inventory changes significantly (like adding a whole extra room after the walkthrough).

What Determines Your Cost?

We don’t charge by time or weight. We calculate cost based on:

• The size of the moving truck

• How much space your items occupy (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or full truck)

Example: If you’re moving out of a small apartment, you might only need half of a 26-foot truck. A full home might require a larger or fully loaded truck.

That’s normal. Most customers aren’t sure what truck size fits their home. We offer free in-home estimates so one of our pros can assess your move and give you a recommendation—no obligation.

Basic Guide:

• 1–2 bedroom apartment: fits in a 16-ft truck

• 3-bedroom home: fits in a 26-ft truck

After the visit, we provide a written estimate that includes everything you need:

• Truck

• 2–7 movers

• Fuel

• Equipment

• Furniture disassembly and reassembly

• One trip

Note: Long walks, stairs, extra stops, or additional trips may slightly affect pricing, but we always tell you up front.

What’s Included in Your Price?

Your quote covers everything for a standard, one-trip move:

• Truck and crew

• Shrink wrap and moving pads

• Dollies and equipment

• Fuel

• Furniture disassembly/reassembly

• Basic NYSDOT insurance ($0.60/lb)

We also offer optional full-value protection with a $500 deductible.

26-Foot Truck

• ½ truck: $1500

• ¾ truck: $2000

• Full truck: $2500

28-Foot Truck

• ½ truck: $1900

• ¾ truck: $2400

• Full truck: $2900

30-Foot Truck

• ½ truck: $2000

• ¾ truck: $2500

• Full truck: $3000

16-Foot Truck (Not available April–September)

• ½ truck: $800

• Full truck: $1100

Peak Season Note: During April–September, we require a minimum booking of ½ a 26-ft truck.
